When thinking about where to travel next, I sort of stumbled into picking this itinerary as Argentina/Brazil wasn’t really at the top of my shortlist, but it ended up being one of my Flash Pack favorites. Headlined by the absolutely incomparable Iguazu Falls, which we were lucky enough to experience from both the Argentina and Brazil sides, and bookended by two unforgettable city stops — sophisticated, culture-rich Buenos Aires and tropical, vibrant Rio de Janeiro — it became one of my best travel experiences.
I love the diversity of activities on this trip, getting to experience everything from rich city history and museums to breathtaking (BREATHTAKING!!) scenery, peak adrenaline thrills, culinary highlights, and even some unique wildlife. …Am I becoming a birding person now??
Add to that a particularly great Flash Pack group led by A+ guides, and we have a winner.
The only real negative (amplified by airline trouble that cost me a full day in Buenos Aires 😭), is that it felt SO short. I easily could’ve spent a few more days in each of these stops. I feel like I blinked and was back in NYC!
